Malaysia's SKS Power mandates
Bumiputra-Commerce Bank, Bank Islam Malaysia, Bank Muamalat, KAF Discounts, Malayan Banking and United Overseas Bank have won the mandate to arrange the M$7bn project financing for SKS Power Sdn Bhd. The structure of the financing has not been finalised but officials say the transaction will be split between a M$3 billion loan and a M$4 billion Islamic bond issue. Proceeds will finance the construction and development of a 2,100MW coal fired power plant at Tanjung Bin, Johor, Malaysia.
Bonny Gas Transport pushes the boat out

Underwritten and now in general syndication, the senior syndication phase on Nigeria LNGs $460 million Bonny Gas Transport LNG carrier project has closed with six banks joining.
