James Stewart, the head of the UK governments infrastructure procurement advisory body, Infrastructure UK, has said that he will step down in February 2011. During his time at Infrastructure UK, Stewart drew up plans for the £200 billion National Infrastructure Plan and the Infrastructure Cost Review. Stewarts position will be advertised shortly.
Doug Ewing has been named vice-president, projects, at Partnerships British Columbia. Ewing has been an assistant vice-president at Partnerships BC since 2009, when he joined from the Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committee, where he was project manager for the Whistler Olympic Park.
Rick Byers has been appointed to PPP Canadas board of directors. Byers is currently executive vice-president at Borealis Infrastructure, but worked at BMO between 1991 and 2007. He left BMO, where his last position was head of government investment banking, to stand unsuccessfully for election to the Ontario provincial assembly for the Oakville...
