Pete Keel has been named senior vice-president, strategy and investor relations at First Wind. Keel was previously vice-president of financial planning and director of project finance at First Wind, which he joined in 2006. Before that he was at GE Energy Financial Services, GE Power Systems and GE Wind Energy.

Vinci Construction has hired Keith Shivers as regional direc­tor for north-east England. Shiv­ers was previously director at MJ Gleeson and managing direc­tor at Powerminster Gleeson.

Sunil Kakar has been named chief financial officer at India’s Infrastructure Development Fin­ance Company. Kakar was most recently group CFO at Max New York Life Insurance Company, and replaces LK Narayan, who has taken up a position at a non-profit.
