* JBIC has officially separated from Japan Finance Corp. The new independent JBIC will have three main departments based on sectors natural resources, infrastructure, and manufacturing finance rather than financial type.
* Mike Green has been appointed director of capital at the new Education Funding Agency (EFA). Green will be responsible for all future school building programmes and is the indirect replacement of Tim Byles, who was head of Partnerships for Schools, EFAs predecessor. Green has worked for Boots for over 10 years, where he was in charge of maintaining the companys estate of more than 3,000 buildings across the UK.
