Samra Plant Company (SPC) closed the $265 million refinancing and expansion financing for the As-Samra wastewater treatment plant in Jordan on 18 July. A syndicate of nine local banks, led by Arab Bank, arranged the commercial debt for the deal, and Millennium Challenge Corporation also provided a $93 million grant.
