The Kenyan government has signed a letter of support with the sponsors of the delayed Lake Turkana wind project. An Aldwych International-led consortium, which also includes KP&P Africa, Industrial Fund for Developing Countries, Vestas and Norfund, is developing the 310MW project, which has been delayed because of changes to its risk allocation. The agreement will give comfort to lenders that the project has the full backing of the host government.
