Herbert Smith has hired Linklaters senior associate Alexander Currie as a partner in London. Currie specializes in energy project finance, and has been an associate at Linklaters since 1999.
Chadbourne & Parke has formed a trading and derivatives practice group, as an extension of its project finance practice. The group's leaders will be Merrill Kramer in Washington DC, Denis Petkovic in London, Andrea Satty in New York; David Schumacher in Houston, and Igor Muszynski in Warsaw.
Paul Dunstan has left ABN Amro in Vancouver, where he headed up its infrastructure capital business. Dunstan can now be contacted at Plenary Group, an infrastructure and PPP development business founded by other former members of ABN's infrastructure finance unit, and in which Deutsche holds a 20% stake.
