Babcock & Brown has bought trans-European independent renewable energy company Enersis for Eu490 million from Portuguese cement conglomorate Semapa. The Enersis portfolio comprises hydro and wind projects in Portugal, Spain and France, and small investments in bio-fuel and wave technologies.
