Tram-Train may hit the wall
27 November 2009 The Eu1.55 billion ($2.33 billion) Tram-Train PPP on the French island of La Reunion could be cancelled due to lack of funding. Tram Tiss, the project consortium led by Bouygues and featuring Bombardier, Veolia, Societe Generale and Axa, is due to sign the contract in December, but the regional council of La Reunion has threatened to cancel the project in December if the French government does not guarantee more funding.
